Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Multiple Flashcard is a language-learning application for creating and practising flashcards, words, sentences, translations, categories, images and learning settings. This policy explains how the app handles user and device data.

2. Data we collect

MA-DR Studio does not operate an account system, advertising network or analytics server for this app. We do not collect or sell names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, precise location, messages, advertising identifiers or payment-card details.

User-created flashcards and settings are stored locally on the device unless the user chooses to export, share, back up or restore them.

3. Locally stored content

The app may store the following information locally on the user's device:

• Words, sentences, translations, explanations and categories.
• Selected images and other card content chosen by the user.
• Learning progress, statistics, language choices and playback settings.
• Backup-folder permission selected through Android's system file picker.
• PRO entitlement status needed to show purchased features.

MA-DR Studio does not receive or access this locally stored learning content.

4. Permissions and foreground services

The app may request or use the following Android capabilities only for user-facing features:

• Notifications: to show active playback or Floating status and controls.
• Foreground media playback: to continue user-started text-to-speech or learning playback while the app is in the background.
• Special-use foreground service and display over other apps: to show the user-started movable Floating Flashcard window above other apps.
• Files, images or camera: only when the user chooses an image, imports a file, exports data or selects a backup location through the system picker.

Floating and background playback are started by the user and can be stopped at any time from the app, the Floating controls or the Android notification.

5. Text-to-speech and audio

The app uses Android or device text-to-speech services to pronounce words and sentences. Processing is performed by the selected speech engine. The handling of speech requests by that engine is governed by the speech-engine provider's own privacy terms.

6. Google Play services

On Android, Google Play may process limited device, purchase and app information for in-app purchases, purchase restoration, app licensing and update checks. MA-DR Studio does not receive users' payment-card details. Google handles these services under its own privacy policy and terms.

7. Backup, export, import and sharing

Backup, export, import and sharing actions are initiated by the user. Files are written to a location selected by the user or shared with an app selected by the user. MA-DR Studio does not automatically upload backup files or flashcard content to its own servers.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell user data. We do not share locally stored flashcard content with third parties. Information may be processed by platform services only when required for user-requested functions such as Google Play Billing, app updates, system text-to-speech, file selection or sharing.

9. Data retention and deletion

Local app data remains on the device until the user deletes cards or packs, clears the app's storage, restores a different backup or uninstalls the app. Exported backup files remain in the location selected by the user until the user deletes them.

10. Children's privacy

The app does not require an account and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians should supervise device permissions, sharing and backup choices where appropriate.

11. Security

User-created content is primarily stored locally and is protected by the security of the user's device and chosen backup location. Users should keep their device secure and store exported backups in a trusted location.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when app features, permissions or platform requirements change. The current version will remain available at this public URL.
