What is Multi Flashcard?
Multi Flashcard is a multilingual flashcard app for learning words, short sentences and useful phrases. You choose a language pair, practise both directions, listen to pronunciation and keep your own personal word list.
Each language pair has its own cards and progress.
Uses the built-in voices available on your iPhone or iPad.
Export your cards and restore them later.

📲 Download & Invite Friends
Multi Flashcard works on both Android and iPhone/iPad. You can invite friends regardless of which device they use. Scan the correct QR code below or share the direct link.
🤖 Android

iPhone users can invite Android users, and Android users can invite iPhone users. Just share the App Store link, Google Play link or Telegram channel.
🚀 First-time setup
Tap 📦 Packs at the top of the app.
Select your Native language and the Learning language.
Tap + Add free demo package to install starter cards for that language pair.
Return to the main screen and use Next, Read, Auto next and the direction buttons.
📦 Language packs
A language pack is one language pair, for example Dutch → French or Persian → Dutch. Every pack has its own words, categories, progress, images and settings.
Tap 📦 Packs to see all installed packs. You can open or delete each pack.
Creates a new empty pack so you can add your own words and sentences manually.
Opens the language package page where you can preview and install starter cards.
🧠 Practice mode
Practice mode is the main learning screen. Use it to review cards, listen to pronunciation and test yourself.
Choose Native → Learning, Learning → Native, or Both.
Show or hide the image connected to the current card.
Automatically moves to the next card after the selected number of seconds.
Turns automatic pronunciation on or off.
Shows daily and total practice progress.
Repeats the current sound/pronunciation more than once.
Buttons under the card
- Previous — go back to the previous card.
- Next — move to the next card.
- Read — read the current card aloud.
- Edit — change the current word, translation, image or highlight settings.
- Share — share the current card with someone else.
- Delete — remove the current card from this pack.
🔊 Voice & Audio Troubleshooting
Multi Flashcard uses your device's built-in Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine. If pronunciation is missing or no sound is played, follow the instructions below.
🤖 Android
- Open Settings.
- Search for Text-to-Speech.
- Open Text-to-Speech settings.
- Select your TTS engine, such as Google Text-to-Speech or Samsung Text-to-Speech.
- Tap Install voice data.
- Download the language voice you need.
- After downloading, open the same language again and make sure the downloaded voice is selected/active.
- Close Multi Flashcard completely and open it again.
Settings → Text-to-SpeechSettings → General Management → Text-to-SpeechSettings → Accessibility → Text-to-Speech
🍎 iPhone & iPad (iOS)
- Open Settings.
- Go to Accessibility.
- Open Spoken Content.
- Tap Voices.
- Select the language you want to practise.
- Download a voice for that language.
- After downloading, select the downloaded voice if iOS does not select it automatically.
- Close Multi Flashcard completely and open it again.
Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices
Before troubleshooting further:
- Create a backup of your flashcards.
- Export your backup file.
- Clear the app cache on Android.
- Uninstall the app.
- Install the latest version again.
- Import your backup again.
➕ Add words and sentences
Use this section to create your own cards.
- Choose or open the correct language pack.
- Scroll to Add word / sentence.
- Enter the word or sentence in the learning language.
- Enter the translation in your native language.
- Optional: add a category, image or highlight settings.
- Save the card and practise it from the main screen.
🖼 Images and highlights
Add an image from your iPhone or iPad photo library.
Take a new photo and attach it to your flashcard.
Select a file from the iOS Files app.
Highlight a key word inside a sentence. Choose the word, color, size, font and style such as bold or underline.
💾 Backup, export and import
Backup is important if you add your own words or use the app on more than one device.
Save your words as a backup file in Files or share it with yourself.
Restore or add words from a backup file through the iOS Files picker.
🌍📚 Word List & Backup Guide
This screen opens when you tap Word list inside the app. Here you can manage all your saved words and sentences in one place.
Adds new words from a backup file without deleting your current words.
Replaces the current pack completely with the imported backup.
Creates a backup file of your saved words and sentences.
Select one or more words for bulk actions.
Quickly search through saved vocabulary and sentences.
Show only words from a specific category.
Reads the word or sentence aloud using iOS speech.
Edit saved words, translations or categories.
🔓 PRO features
Demo packs and practice are free. PRO unlocks personal editing features such as adding your own cards, editing, deleting, importing, exporting, images and backups.
If you already purchased PRO on iPhone/iPad with the same Apple ID, tap Restore Purchases inside the app. On Android, use the same Google account used for the purchase.
🛠 Troubleshooting
Follow the Voice & Audio section above. On Android, install and activate the voice data. On iPhone/iPad, download the voice through Spoken Content → Voices.
The iOS Files picker only shows files saved on your iPhone/iPad or iCloud Drive. Save your JSON backup to Files first, then import it.
Open Packs, delete the empty pack and add the demo package again.
Close the app completely and reopen it after updating.
Edit the card manually. Any automatic translation is only a helper.

Multi Flashcard was independently built during more than 6 months of development in 2026 by Peiman D. Rad.
